Hyde Capital manages a diversified portfolio of structured investments in alternative credit, with primary emphasis upon private debt secured against real estate in prime markets throughout the United States.

Our platform applies a credit intensive approach centered in opportunistic and value-add special situations in order to capitalize on market inefficiencies.

We believe successful real estate investing across cycles requires disciplined active portfolio management emphasizing both principal preservation and capital growth.  We deploy our capital in local markets via diligent underwriting to identify opportunities, establish granular asset-level knowledge, and structure optimal financing solutions for transaction sponsors.

Our investment strategy seeks to generate superior uncorrelated risk-adjusted returns across market cycles over the long-term. While our philosophy remains consistent its execution is flexible in application, allowing capital allocation to shift among asset classes and geographies based upon prevailing opportunities.

Founders bring more than 40 years of combined experience in commercial and investment banking, real estate finance, leveraged finance, structured finance and global capital markets. With over $1 Billion of transaction experience, we are committed to operating with the highest professional and ethical standards.

 

 

David Oles
Founder | Principal

Mr. Oles brings 30 years of experience in real estate finance, commercial & investment banking. He is also a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners LLC, a NY-based boutique investment banking firm through which regulated activity is transacted. In addition, Mr. Oles is the Founder of Asher Consulting Group, Ltd. with advisory emphasis in Real Estate, Film Finance, Energy, Collateral Lending & Art Finance. Mr. Oles previously worked at Wells Fargo Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank with focus on real estate credit and commercial lending transactions.

Tatev Stepanyan, CFA
Founder | Principal

Ms. Stepanyan brings 15 years of experience in corporate and real estate finance. She is also a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners, LLC, a NY-based boutique investment banking firm. In addition, Ms. Stepanyan was a key member of the Deloitte Debt Advisory | Alternative Capital Solutions Team based in London (UK), where she managed capital raise transactions for privately-held and PE owned middle-market companies in the UK & Europe, arranging financing for M&A, Leveraged Buyouts and Project Finance. Previously Ms. Stepanyan worked at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services in Los Angeles, where she managed corporate finance advisory for Fortune 500 companies.
